~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Good morning everyone and happy Friday. Can you believe it is just one more week? If you have a recruit in the performing division they should be performing at PIR today. So maybe you will get lucky and find some pics of your recruit. Time for stalking facebook :)
Daphne, I am so sorry your recruit is being sent home. That is so hard, especially this close to PIR. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know when you hear from her. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
Good Morning All!
good morning everyone-wow , so much going on right now. so emotional. my prayers to everyone and sr's. Thanks for all being here for us everyday with so much inormation!
Gatorfan, my son is ship 2, Dive. 920, going to nuke school in Goose Creek. HOw about yours?
Rows girl, The prone float seems to be hard for many of the recruits, no fat to float. Be assured that he will be given all the help and opportunity to pass it. Did he tell you if he got moved to the FIT division, I am assuming at this point he has been.
As far as NOT hearing from him, it should be the other way around, if he doesn't pass and is asmo'd to graduate at a later PIR, he will call you. I suggest that if you don't hear from him by Wed morning you call the PAO office in GL and ask if he is on schedule for graduation. They can't and won't give you anymore information, but they will probably give you yes or no.
On Tuesday, the week before my sons PIR, there were six in his division and brother division that were moved to FIT for failing either the PFA or swim test. Those leaving were upset as well as all who were watching them leave.
The following Monday, their BS date, they heard the RDCs yelling, "Get your stuff stowed, you only have two hours". This confused all of those getting ready for BS, then in walked all six of those who were having issues. They all passed their final tests (a couple of them that morning) and were returning for BS that night.
So, hold tight, things may still be just fine! Fingers crossed and a prayer your way.
Daphne, I'm so sorry. I hope they will be able to address your daughter's health issues. You will all be in my prayers.

Daphne: Wow, I'm so very sorry. How strange that they found this out just now??? She would have been a sailor in the morning. She never mentioned this before to you, that they may have been testing her on this? Seems strange. Yes, I would imagine many have high blood pressure right now with BattleStations starting for some of them.
I'm so very sorry...hope it is something you can follow up on when she is home to make sure all is ok. Blessings to your daughter and her willingness to serve her country!
