N4M's Community Guidelines

OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hi Ladies of 923

The recruits are making calls!  Unfortunately my SR used a payphone that we could not hear her at all.  Dead air. We yelled loud that we loved her and to try another phone.. Sure hope they let her try another phone : (

Just got a call from my SR... said ship 14 div 152 is scheduled to make calls Wednesday afternoon (couldn't remember exact time)  Also said tomorrow-monday would be 2-3.  Sounds like everything is going good.

I got my phone call too. YEAH!! Got to talk about 10 mins, and called his g.f. and they got to talk (she missed his phone call last week). So i hope that perks him up. He also complains that his Div is too talkative, not following directions. He is down, didn't mention the test tomorrow or inspection. I hope it turns around very soon.....

BTW..the calls were from ship 3 div 153 so man your phones!!

<-----is doing the happy dance!!! JUST had a 20 minute call from my SR! He's doing GREAT! but is a wee bit bored. His Div has a test tomorrow and an inspection. Says his division doesn't quite get it to shut up and follow directions! lol He said they've lost 3 to being put back a week..and 2 home on medical issues. But his division is still on track to PIR as promised :)

He also mentioned that he'd be calling on Thursday of this week..don't know if that is for his division or if there's something with is NUKE program that he'll need to call. We didn't get that specific. It was just great to hear his voice!!!
