~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I printed out my gate passes! Thanks for putting the link on here ellen0502! That's one thing I can check off my list!! :) So excited for next week! I'm sure in some ways it will take forever to get here and in other ways it will fly by (as I try to remember and pack everything to take)! So excited!! :)
AMEN, Lala. So very sad....hoping there will be no more fatalities and that those with the injuries will be ok. Horrible....may those responsible be found and punished severely.....!
Many thoughts and prayers for all those in Boston affected by these bombings. So sad that our country has been attacked again. No news who did this but whoever they are from some other country or our own I hope they are caught very soon. There is a person of interest in custody. They don't know yet if it is a victim or perpetrator. We have heard from our family members who live there and they are fine. Some of them can't get home but at least they are okay. I hope all of your families in that area are okay as well <3
Good Afternoon, Everyone!
"For I am the Lord, your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you,
'Do not fear; I will help you.'"
Psalm 41:13
Here is the link for your gate passes!!!
Gate Passes are ready! Gate Passes are ready! Yippee!!!!!!!!
Our verse yesterday at church was : Trust the Lord with all of your heart, soul and strength (might)....which was the Deuteronomy verse written by Moses, inspired by God. But in the New Testament, Jesus repeats it and adds "mind" to it. It is a great verse to keep in mind when life is challenging...which is most times these days!
Good Morning All !
Good Morning~~
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
Oh, I didn't even think of that Diannep, ugggg lol As you can tell i am taking a little break lol.
Something everyone needs to be aware of. You will need current photo ID not only to get into PIR but also if you plan to fly. Check your ID and make sure it isn't about to expire. There was a mom for this past weeks PIR who didn't know her license had expired and she got to the airport and could not fly with her ID. She had to leave the airport and go to DMV, renew her license and take the paper copy along with her old ID back to the airport and it cost her quite a bit of money to change her flights to later that day. It was a huge mess so don't take that chance.
