Well I sent him one of those big envelopes to send back the letters that we sent him when he started running out of room. So I understand him sending them back. But I don't understand why he didn't write at least a scribbled note or anything.
Received two letters!  He says time is flying by!  He misses home.  His RDC sounds like a real character.  He didn't mention anything new about being a stick or where they were at in their training!
I got 2 letters today too! I was very surprised.  He said he is having a lot of dental work done and isn't doing PT or IT.  But he did say that he is a stick, and he is flag 5 (Starboard Section middle flag).  He said it's a lot more responsibility and he enjoys it, and it's fun. Yay! so now I will be able to spot him easily at PIR.
OH and their division won the scholastic flag for earning over a 4.0 on an important test, he thinks the earned a 4.2.
And they are allowed to write Tues, Thurs, and Sundays.  But on Tues and Thurs they only get 25 minutes.
My boyfriend mention them doing good on that test too :) So proud of the boys!!
Letters waiting for me at home :) guess they just got delayed a day.
Getting sooo excited for PIR :)

SubWife - My SR didn't say anything about winning a flag for scholastics - when would that have been?  Just curious.  He did say that he did his job classification the other day - EM and ET Nuke (volunteered for sub duty)  Aaaahhh!

Sandman713 - My SR hasn't mentioned anything about the RDC's.  He may be saying some of that stuff to other people he may be writing to, but not me.  That's OK, but it's interesting to read what some of you moms, wives and girlfriends are saying that are in the same ship/div.

Getting excited about PIR, too, but a bit sad that we won't have alot of time with him - Saturday Departure too.  :(

Pat didn't mention anything about when he will depart for A school after grad...should he already know that?
He wrote me a letter on Thursday and on Sunday, so they got the flag sometime between those two days because he wrote it in the Sunday letter.  My husband doesn't know what job he will have yet, he will find that out towards the middle or end of Sub school in Groton, CT.
Yeah Im waiting to find out when on Sat he will be leaving for Fort Leonard Wood?
