Oh SubWife that is not good. I can't believe facebook won't allow you to change it. I am getting married June 25th and I don't want to keep my ex's name, not even on facebook lol.

Welcome Savanna, I am so glad you found this group and that your SR is on his way to becoming a Sailor :-) IF you have any questions feel free to ask. There are several veteran moms here, including myself who ready to help you through this incredible journey.

no it is not my SR's last name.  It is my last name from a previous marriage, facebook just won't allow me to change the link.

Please be careful what you post on here as it is a public forum and some RDC"s watch the sites and can give your recruit grief about it.  If you are on facebook same thing be careful what you post. If you want to share info do so privately by pm, do not use names first or last and and do not use photos of your recruit because it makes it easier for the RDC's.  If your recruit is an 800 division please read the Spec Ops rules.  Just a heads

I know which is good because John's step mom was on the waiting list so now she has a better chance of getting in.

HAve fewer divisions graduate also means you can take extra people with you to PIR if you choose to. They have a great chance of getting in with no problem. :)

jdmom, my daughter did the same thing she wrote very small and got 8 lines out of the 4 provided and then wrote all the way up the side and across the top of the paper. And wrote little comments all over the other pages. It was AWESOME lol, I was so lucky to have a kid who like to write :-)

I'm just ready to get my first real letter should be sometime this week I hope.

It is great that everyone is starting to hear, I can't believe my son wrote so much on the bottom of the form letter, I haven't even had it an hour and I have already read it about a dozen times.  A much better Monday then last Monday when he left!
