Someone in the boot camp group thinks it may be a divions on ship 12...if you go to the boot camp group and scroll back a few pages one of the moms posted it and you can make it bigger so you can really see some faces.  I hope someone sees one of their SRs.

I made my reservations with the navy lodge and they said that you don't need an ID. Your SR does eventually have to come in and show their ID at the lodge. You should be able to get an ID though. My husband mailed me a completed DEERS form and I'm getting my ID today.

Please go to Facebook, then U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command and look at the wall photo that was posted yesterday.  It may be a group of our SR's.  The caption says they are a new divison.  Please let us know if you see your SR.

Does anyone know if you need a Military ID to check into the Navy Lodge for PIR? I have heard different answers.

The divisions do take some time to fill up.  So some are there earlier than others, but end up in the same divisions.

Itsmemom and Nanette,  My son's PIR is 05/13 and he arrived BC on 03/16.  I guess they may have needed to wait to fill the division up.  What's their Ship/Div?

My first letter came the second week and I'm still waiting on a call and we're well into the third week.

itsmemom I am also waiting for the first letter and call.  As well I'm surprised at the PIR date  5/13 my Navy Girl arrived 3/22 and I expected it 5/20 but that's OK with me it just means 1 week closer to a 2 wk leave here at home :-}

I am waiting for my first real letter and phone call. I hope she can call before 4/17-that following week (thru 4/24) I will NOT be able to take any calls since we will be on a cruise (I know boo-hoo). But would LOVE To hear from her before then. I am surprise that her PIR date is 5/13 (she arrived 3/21) I really thought it would of been the following week. But, that is a nice surprise. Come on letter!
