ochoas>I like what you have to day about all of us in training too.
I read somewhere that when we do for other people what they should do for themselves we both stay stuck. I am afraid I am guilty of this action, doing for my kids. I took on responsibilties for them, even for their benefit for some years. My husband and I had one of those heart to hearts and I finally saw the light, not through our talk but just by observing actions of the kids. You know behavior, cleaning(lack of ), proctrastinating, just being lazy. Well when I stopped doing, they had to do and now they are all young adults doing for themselves. So now I am OK with all this, it's my turn to learn.
janlee>you hit the nail on the head, right down to the mumbling over 'those parts'. ;>)
It's really hard watching UCONN and KENTUCKY tonight w/o my son. He has always been a HUGE UCONN fanl. I did make copies of the scores and brackets and they are in his letter but by the time he gets to read it we'll have a final. I have a feeling he is going to go to church tomorrow, just a feeling.
The main reason not to call back the phone number is that you may have a RDC answer it and then your recruit will never hear the end of it about his mommy calling to check up on him, better to play it safe and not call it back. Sometimes they have watch when the others get to make calls, or they are given a very short period of time to get their phone cards and then make the calls. Do not stress about it, learn to go with the flow and be as relaxed as you can - if you get one feel blessed and if not, after PIR you will be hearing from them more.
This is as much about training for them as it is about training for us, this will not be the last time that they are out of touch for periods of time and the sooner you are able to be at peace with that the better.
