~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

That is true, Navy mom/sh04div812: You can donate at the actual event!
Good morning. I got a call from my SR yesterday again. I was really surprised. They are doing really good. Counting down the days to PIR. I would like to donate to the Meet and Greet.
ellen, I could use some of your industrious ability down here....younger son moving back in with me again due to not being able to afford his apt anymore...sigh...where to put all of his stuff? Already had older son move back in 2.5 yrs ago (saving for a house) and he is a packrat so his stuff is everywhere. I cannot stand "clutter" so my mind is going crazy! YIKES! So come on down! I need help!
Good Morning All !
This group is truly amazing! I have the following people that have committed to donating items for our M&G.
*(JA., JB, MB, JBr, CS, BD, SDS, KT, PGW, JAK, LM, LRR, ABS, DS, NMM), and Myself.
We have great items that have been donated so, please remember to bring cash to purchase raffle tickets to win one or more of the items!!! Thank you to everyone, this night will be a success and a lot of fun!!! I also want to thank *(PGW, JA, and SDS,) for wanting to help me the night of the event. If I missed someone on donation or wanting to help please remind me. Between all of the websites, my family, work and worrying about my SR I am sure I have forgotten someone or something :)
*(PERSEC, N4M guidelines) I have removed names copied and pasted. No worries, it happens!
Wow Ellen, that is TOO MUCH WINTER. I will think spring for you and try to send some of our weather your way :)
Catmom, they are very yummy :)
No Lala... I am not planting flowers or working in the yard, I am cleaning out the garage though. Spring is not always in the air for me, the low temp in a couple days is forecast to be 27.
No planting here until mid to late May, everything would/could freeze and die before that, and I would have to do it all over again!!!!
