Hi there!

I am the mom of a new sailor who is in ship 02, div 927. His PIR date is 5/18/12.  We are interested in other folks who have kids graduation within the same division/ship. This is all new to us so we are pretty clueless!! Where to stay, what to wear??? What to do with him after graduation?? Anyone else feel the same? :) Thanks! Donna

I would suggest that you go with Business casual. Remember your Sailor will not be able to remo ve thier uniform wile on leave.  You can do a search for entertainment, and find bunches. the RTC is telling the sailors that they can not leave a 50 mile radius. now in that you have lots to choose from just make sure you check the hour and dates open.  I hope this helps.

ok I found one more picture.

Good Luck ladies your days are comming. the Last week is the hardest cause it feels like it draggs by.  Keep your spirtis up and Keep busy.  Oh! if you have a small sewing kit for travel you might take it.  I know a couple of our had to have thier buttons resewed while in liberty.

Has anyone received a BattleStations date for 927?  I know it is usually either one of two nights, but want to confirm.  We can't post the dates on N4Moms but are allowed to private message them.  So please friend request/private message it to me if you have one.  I will keep a schedule and message it out when finished.  Thanks!

Donna, I'm so sorry that you will have to wait another two weeks.  Prayers and best wishes are being sent your way.

I'm so sorry. Keep your head up and encourage your SR to do the same. 2 weeks will be hee before you know it.

Oh Donna, my heart breaks for you. I can't imagine what you must be feeling but please know that the moms on here are here for you. Please let us know if there is something we can do for you.

Oh Donna, I am so sorry.  I was just telling someone today how hard it is when we have to let our children grow up and make their own choices and decisions for their lives yet their choices don't just affect their life only, but also those of us whose hearts are tied to them.  Praying that this is an opportunity for real breakthrough and growth into the man he is destined to become.
