Hi there!
I am the mom of a new sailor who is in ship 02, div 927. His PIR date is 5/18/12. We are interested in other folks who have kids graduation within the same division/ship. This is all new to us so we are pretty clueless!! Where to stay, what to wear??? What to do with him after graduation?? Anyone else feel the same? :) Thanks! Donna

I would suggest that you go with Business casual. Remember your Sailor will not be able to remo ve thier uniform wile on leave. You can do a search for entertainment, and find bunches. the RTC is telling the sailors that they can not leave a 50 mile radius. now in that you have lots to choose from just make sure you check the hour and dates open. I hope this helps.

Oh Donna, I am so sorry. I was just telling someone today how hard it is when we have to let our children grow up and make their own choices and decisions for their lives yet their choices don't just affect their life only, but also those of us whose hearts are tied to them. Praying that this is an opportunity for real breakthrough and growth into the man he is destined to become.
