~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

MustangRobin: Keep your phone with you ALL day, EVERYWHERE you go!!! TODAY should be your phone call :)
Good morning everyone! Wow, in less than one week we will be hugging those we love so much!!!
So, I thought I would be ok not knowing, but I was wrong. Can someone inbox/friend message me the date for div 183 BS? I'm thinking I know, but I have loads of errands today and I don't want to be somewhere and not able to answer my phone.
Can't wait to meet so many of you next week! Woo hoo!!!!
Good Morning everyone!! Me too, cindyb, I will have to make sure I have plenty of tissues next week, lol!
mariekg, I bet your hubby smells wonderful ;)......and what a sight you got to see yesterday!! I would have LOVED to have seen those ships coming in!
I watched the PIR on the live stream today and I STILL couldn't tell for sure which one was mine! I sure wish he would have given a little more information in his short letters ;-/...like WHERE he would be standing! His last 3-4 sentence letter that came yesterday came with a check for his girlfriend to fly with us so I guess it will be three of us going next week! He also made a comment about being EM and volunteering for SUB!!! WHAT?!?! Before he left he said he wanted ET and Surface (Carrier)!! Now I have to wait till next week to ask him what up!!
Happy Memorial Day Weekend ladies! Let's take some time this weekend to remember the fallen that have helped keep us and our great Nation safe:)
Good Morning!
Good Morning,
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. 6 more days to go, this mom will be a mess at this time next Friday. That's ok for I will be holding my baby.
Happy Day Everyone.

Good morning!
Geez if I am already crying just watching today's PIR...how the heck am I going to be next week during our own PIR? I better pull it together!!! lol
Marie, I bet your husband smells like a nice bouquet! LOL
mariekg,
I'm wondering if someone looked at your hubby today and commented about what's that new cologne he's wearing!! :)
Happy Friday!!

lighttrain: I think the point you made about having something for which to hold thier heads high is what fills me up the most. These SR's have truly done this w/o us!! Who'd of thought that the same teen who could never find his wallet, car keys or worse, his way to a 10:00 class at college did this all by himself...I guess we all knew they had it in them but WOW this is such an honorable form of validation....
Anyway my house smelt like the local yankee candle store this morning...its a wonder I didn't burn the place down. My husband flew open all the windows because he was afraid he'd smell like a lilac...but after all the trials and tribulations of raising teens...its a great day to be here with some of the best virtual friends a mommy can have :)
