Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I had about convinced myself that an SR with my son's hair color and BCGs might be my son.  Then I realized the chin was entirely different!  I really can't picture what he might look like without hair and those stylish glasses.  Glad we can have some fun with it while we wait. : )

Once that head is shaved, and the uniforms slapped on them, it is hard to tell who is who!  Amazing how just a "hairstyle change" can make all look so similar!

Got my letter!!! Yaaaaayyyy! Although it wasn't 4 pages long. Oh well.  everytime I walk to the mailbox I say "please, please, please, please" and then today - sandwiched right between 2 Bills (of course) - there it was!!!! Yaaaay.

Oh yeah Oh yeah.!!  I just saw another div. 931 on the facebook pg. that got a letter too, who also sounded upbeat and happy.

*Linda.. I thought the facebook page was a little like playing "Where's Waldo" cause they all look alike.!  My husband keeps asking, "did you find Waldo yet?" It is really fun looking at what they are doing, even if it may not be them.

Well I checked out the facebook pics I didn't see my kid but I did learn that my son has a look alike I was screaming oh my goodness there he is!!!! I was looking  and looking crying getting out the magnifying glass that was so for sure him...then I looked at the date It was lie 2 weeks before My boy even Left...ha ha wishful thinking I guess  lol
