OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks, tysmom, for reminding the ladies about the BattleStations info in the discussion groups above.  Don't click on the link from here....it won't open.  Open the "BattleStations" discussion group and click on the link from there.

Prayers for those going through tonight! Still don't know when 207-208 and 931 go...a couple of potential dates. So phones ready for all of these groups starting tomorrow...glued to your bodies!  Calls usually start around 2 pm GL time....but can come a bit earlier or later.  Be sure to ask your new sailor if all in that division passed and post that info here for those who may not hear from their sailor in that division right away (because of watch, etc)
