Tryin to keep my brain in line..   OH MY what a crazy adventure this has been..!!

I Just came back from the store. We have a store near us called the Bent & Dent. Everything is crazy cheep. Bought snacks to keep us busy for our 11 hr. drive and back. We try to limit our junk food it to some point, but I wondered what all my sailor might want and been missing, so I think I bought everything in sight..!!  ~ugh~

If you have not done so, you may find it interesting to read about Battlestations....diannep posted it in May....go above comments here...click last reply...go to top of that page and click on the http...go down that page to the Battlestations very informative especially when some of the SRs go in a few hours..

They are almost "sailors"......I am so excited for them....but I have things to do like finish planting the garden and finish some laundry....it is hard to keep ones mind at all the regular life things that need to be done...and no letter today so we are still in limbo on our weekend.

"We've come this far by grace, leaning on the Lord"...as the song goes.

Audrey- I think the site is nice. It's a FB page for families of Navy recruits/ sailors. Just never know what kind of other people are on the same page - some I guess are just rude. I'm sure she thinks she was helping. Answer to people like this???? DELETE! haha.

Donna- my God, those puppets NEED you! Pull yourself together, woman!!  hahahaa.  I didn't go to work the day after my son told me he broke his foot. One day I will certainly look back and laugh at that one! I'm almost there. Work is so not a priority on a mom's mind when we can't contact our sons.

Ladies, I can't concentrate. I'm at work. I'm suppose to be carving tongues and sewing eyeballs and all I can think about is Friday and hugging my son. And seeing all the SR's graduate.
Audrey- you are right. I may do that. Just open it when I get home and take the punishment later. I will pucker my bottom lip and bat my baby blues. Lol!!!

KC'smom & Squeekers... don't you worry, girls, we are standing with you! There will always be those stinks out there. But truth be told, you ARE sucking it up! look at you... Your doing it, your getting though this tough stuff.. your still doing life, your not a puddle on the floor! You got out of bed, and your looking and noticing the good things in each day. .   I give you a Hurrraayyy!!!

Pull your shoulders back, and brush those comment off your shoulders,... you do not have to receive that! You are confident lovely women who are doing WELL with what you have right now and you and your SR will have a successful life!

Donna-Open the letter! Remember: It's easier to get forgiveness than permission. lol

KC's Mom-If the people on that site are rude, it's not a site for me.  Email me the site, please.

MamaCindy-Check the electrical outlets to see if it is plugged up in his room or another area of the house.  I had to do the same thing today.

Does anyone know if final PFA for 09/205 is today?

BS is tomorrow night, so I'm just guessing.  I'm hoping they don't wait 'til the day of BS in case someone needed a 2nd shot at it.  He seemed confident about his running after 2nd PFA, but since that was his only struggle, I'll feel better when that's behind us and I haven't gotten a phone call!!!  I KNOW you guys know what I mean.

I can always get a new charger @ Walmart if I have to!  Hoping my mama-detective skills serve me well, though.  : )
