Donna- there is a webpage for injured division but it is a ghost town. It's me and squeekerz and I think one other person. Kinda like when you started a group for our son's division and it was only you and me on there. Got kinda lonely. hahaha.

Squeekez - I definitely did not post anything about crying on the RTC Facebook page. It was a different website.

diannep- I laughed so hard when I saw the picture of the missing phone charger!!  Good one!!!

The people that said these things were in the military themselves.  =\   I dun understand why they have to be so mean. I'm sorry you had to deal with meanies KC'smom!!!  And, you know, it'd only be unacceptable if you were going straight to the Navy FB page and telling them to give your son back! lol  a lot of SRs actually have gotten in trouble because of that RTC facebook page.  My SR included.  Because his mother posted about his injuries on their page, they tracked his last name through her and chewed him out big time.  i'm like.. seriously?!  Why put the dern page up if people are going to get their SRs in trouble for talking about them?! Boo.

I don't know what illness I have.  This headache is awful though, and when my fever spikes I'm not good for anything!  I get all lightheaded and dizzy, and i feel like I'm gonna fall down. lol  Maybe I have strep or something.. 'cause my throat feels swollen and ouchy too...

Hoping that many of you are the lucky ones who get the whole weekend with your sailors....but most of them do leave out on Sat.  Just remember...you can spend time with them at the airport and pass off personal items to them there.  Not as much fun as sightseeing with them, but at least time WITH them.

MamaCindy--did you look under his bed, in the basement, near his computer, in his car (under the seat, of course), or in his garbage can?  is there another one in the house or do you have a friend with a similar phone charger that you could borrow?  or is it too late to buy a new charger?

and squeekerz--what sickness have you been dealing with--a virus? or something more serious?  i will pray for you today.  open up the windows and air out everything.  spray everything down with Lysol. (do i sound like somebody's mom or what?)

Here it is, Mama Cindy!

Squeekerz:  I'm sorry people are talking like that.  Not nice.  You may have come across some who had a family member denied entry into the Navy, or whose own family members were sent home when they didn't want to.  It is very hard to get into the Navy, and now it is hard to STAY in the Navy due to ordered reduction in the number in the Navy.  A very "different' Navy than what was in the past.  And...feel bettern Squeekerz!

The military life is not for everyone, that's for sure.  I have the ultimate respect for military families and what they endure in service to their country.

MamaCindy:  Hmmmm....nope, haven't seen your son's cell phone charger!  HA!  Hope you find it!
