I'm so excited to hear that you all are receiving calls and letters. My boyfriend called today, while I was stuck in traffic, and I got to talk to him for 17 whole minutes! He sounded very well, and he said things were going great, other than that cold that everyone has. He says that time is passing quickly, and that the weather is getting a bit nicer. He sounded like he was in a great mood! For those of you that haven't received a call yet; hang tight, it will probably come soon. I did not get a letter yet this week, but he said they got a whole hour to write this past Sunday, so he said to expect a long one :)

Hang in there Julie, since DIV 187 was making calls today maybe 188 will get a chance in the next couple days. I have my fingers crossed for ya.

Sorry you missed the call Devon but I am glad he was able to reach his dad :-)

Got a call BUT I had stopped at the store on the way home & left phone in car....Missed the call !!! I am so upset. He did talk to his Dad for about 10 minutes. So, lessons learned today....When you least expect it, it will happen & keep phone with you @ all times !!!

Well.. I guess I am not one of the lucky ones who got the golden phone call. I thought I would be ok but I am not... I am more sad now that I havent heard from him... It makes me upset... I just miss my husband so much...

I got a regular phone call !!!!!! I was shopping for new running shoes, saw the 847 area code, put the shoes down and left the store. I sat out front of the store on a bench in the shade, and had a wonderful 10-15 minute talk with my son. I was afraid I would be teary, but he sounded so happy and good that I was just happy too. He said that most everyone in the division had a cold of some sort, and that they all accepted it as normal now. He said tomorrow is Week 3 Day 1. Keep your phones nearby ladies-the call are beginning! I had a nightmare last night that I missed his call, so am delighted that I actually got it. A great day-plus new running shoes :-)

mumof4 - That's great! LOL...I remember reading your post about that!

Got my first short letter from my boy!!!!!  Yeah!!!  He doesn't say much other than he is busy, busy, busy and that he is one of the guys who greets the important people when they enter the hall.  That answers the question as to what my non-musical, non-rhythmical SR is doing in Div. 932!  :)  He wants his debit card - not sure about mailing that to him - should I mail it certified?  But he wished me a happy Mother's Day, and then I cried!  :)
