DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Hi everyone,
It is with regret that I will be sinning off the site my SR is being sent home due to medical issues. I'm so devastated but I'm still proud of her efforts. However due to the medical illness she won't be able to go further. She's been removed from her division into the other division awaiting processing. Please continue to pray for me and my family as I will continue to keep you all in my daily prayers. It's been such a pleasure getting to know you all and I'm saddened that I won't get to meet you all 7/1. Again congratulations and good luck.

kandie88 - my son is in Div. 224.  I can help with the centerpiece.  I am working on a basket for the raffle.  Let me know what you have in mind for the centerpiece.

michaelsmom:  My daughter is also Ship 11, Div 223.  She called May 30th and was on light duty for 3 days due to her knee.  She called again this last Saturday and they put her on an additional 10 days light duty so she also missed her 2nd PFA. She was really upset, especially missing out on so much PT to prepare for the test.  They sent her to the hospital to do scans on her knee and didn't have the results when we talked.  I'm just sending extra encouraging words to her letters and saying extra prayers.  She's pretty headstrong but this has really knocked her down.
