Have all of the divisions in this PIR group completed their last test? I have not heard from my son yet so I am concerned.
MyGirl......I too received the call that my son did not pass his PFA today. However, they do get a chance to take it Monday, and if needed Wednesday also. If they pass it they will be allowed to go to BS-21. From what I have been told they may even attend it that night after passing their PFA. And, if their division hasn't gone yet it's my understanding that they can still go with their division. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.) So, I wouldn't cancel my plans yet either. I'm not. I have faith that he will pass Monday morning and that I will be able to still see him graduate on Friday! I am bummed because he was one of the flag bearers for his division and up until today he has worked with his division to earn everything they have earned. He won't get to attend the Captains Cup with them and that too is quite a bummer. He missed the PFA by 1 sit-up so, this came as quite a shock and I have been close to tears all day. My heart breaks for all these kids that have worked hard clear up until this point and then they get let down. Just keep the faith that they will make it!! Big Congrats to those who now have Navy Sailor's!!!
Congrats to the new sailors in 239/240!
MyGirl: She has more chances! They get to test every 48 hrs so she should get to test again Mon (none on the weekends) and if need be, Wed as well. So don't cancel any plans yet! Prayers that she has wings on her feet! They have them call and say they won't graduate, because it is true that is in jeopardy, but many times they don't tell you they get these chances.
Congratulations to all of you who have sailors! Keep praying for those of us and our SR's yet to receive the call. Thank you CatMom509 for your encouraging scripture.
Happy Friday!!
