Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Got my form letter today!! So excited she's in division 936.. PIR 7-17-15 Since I missed her call yesterday I needed this! Never thought they would get to call this early. She did get a hold of her boyfriend so I know she's doing well.

The form letter can take up to three weeks to receive. You can stay in this group until you receive it, then if things change you can join the other group.

I still haven't received a form letter or call. I am wondering if I am in the wrong group. His PIR is probably 7/24 but I will remain in this group until I get confirmation. I want it to be 7/17 so badly. I don't think I could wait an extra week.

I like your idea of 20 questions, although i suspect my son might not get into the spirit of it, but there are so many things I'd like know! On another idea, I've started looking around when I shop (and believe me, I'm not really a big shopper) for red, white, and blue. Found a few fun decorations at Target in the $1-$3 area, fun stuff to decorate for PIR. It makes it easier to wait.

Yup, radio silence here too, but chatting here has helped! Sent son a " 20 questions" questionaire letter. Very funny to write...included riddles, fun facts as well real questions I wanted to know ( are you on a top or bottom bunk?) haha. Told him all he had to do was fill it out and return to me ( but I wrote the answers to the riddles on the inside of the envelope so he didn't have to wait.
