Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It is pretty amazing that there are so few moms on this site. I haven't come across many in my sons division either! But grateful for the rest of you that are here :)

I'll keep my hopes up. We're sending letters and cards everyday. Hopefully this will provide encouragement so that he strives to graduate on the original scheduled date.

My son is in Div 220 also and I haven't found many others here in that division! Glad you are here, rrmorr. My son's rate is MC and I'm with you - I'm praying he graduates on the 18th because we have booked our trip also.

Yes. Ship 03 Div 220. His rate is IT. I'm praying he successfully passes and graduates on the 18th since I've already secured airfare and hotel.

New to website. Anxiously awaiting a letter from my son. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. I spoke to him early Saturday morning after being gone for 2 weeks. Will they get an opportunity to call again before PIR on 7/18?
