OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ladies-I am so sorry...we can't seem to be able to contact Donna, the creator of your group...she is MIA.

The creator usually adds a countdown clock for the days to PIR(take a peek at other PIR groups. Here is a link to 08/05 : http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir08052011  ) and the weather.

Would you like me to put them in the Discussion Forum? Usually the Countdown clock is customized with a special picture...if one of you would like to do this...volunteer here and I will put the links up in the Discussion Forum...if not then I will do it for you and I will find the best pic that I can for you!
