Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Guys please remember our boys. I have been worried about them alot today. I have no idea why. I just have been. I know IT is getting hard on them. I am nervous for graduation. Where is everyone stay for PIR?

Tina,  That is true.  If your SR's name is in your username or your profile picture is of your SR you are IDing them for the RDC's.  Please ladies lets not make our guys work any harder than they have to!

I have changed my username a little to protect my son.  I read that the RDC's look at this site and could cause some issues.  As you know we don't need to add any more IT time for our guys!!!   I guess the same would go for pics too, if they identify them?  Blue candle is lit...good luck to our loved ones 02/936.  Less than 4 weeks to go :)

Navy wife it is hard. My boyfriend and I were not together on our one month. He is at bootcamp. I set a personal goal of hearing from him by my birthday so when I didn't I cried sooo much. The next day I got a call. Just have faith. I am here for ya friend request me. I understand ya.
