yeah and it just sucks because you have to live off one letter for a week. I believe in marraige that  comunication is a key factor so this is making us stronger but it really sucks. I know after bootcamp though while he is at school we can skyppe and stuff so it'll get better . I just thought i would have adjusted by now but i think you can be strong but you will always miss them.

newnavywife:  When was your birthday.  my birthday and another mom both had our's 6/13, Lizzy's was 6/17  A lot of Gemini's here!

newnavywife it sounds like you and lizzy have a lot in common.  She is missing her fiance so much.  I don't know who it is harder on Mom's, Wives, Fiances, Girlfriends.  We all have missed our SR's so much.  Last summer my oldest son went to South Africa for a ten week internship.  He was robbed the very first day he was there so I was very worried the whole time.  What made it bareable was that he would Skyped us every few days.  I think this is worse.  Although they are not in danger they are working on their future and it means so much for them...but not hearing from them by phone or letter can really be heart-wrenching!  I feel like I can't do anything but think of my son

No it isn't weird...I waited about almost two weeks because I could smell my son's cologne on his t-shirt.  That's my son....this is your husband, so maybe a little longer.  But not weird!  Whatever helps you through is okay.

Is it weird that I haven't washed the clothes my husband sent in the box?
