Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

NEWNAVYMOM: Do you have a facebook page? There are pictures that RTC has posted. It is a great page. I just got a facebook account on Wednesday so I'm still learning how to navigate there but you can search for U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command.

NEWNAVYWIFE: Welcome aboard! What Ship # and Division is your husband in. Liberty after PIR varies and will depend on their A school. I know we have discussed it here early at the beginning so you might want to go to the end and read forward. It can be tedious. We have great VETERAN members that check on us and are very helpful and oh so patient and understanding so maybe when they check in they will post it for you again. It is hard to understand at first so they'd be better at explaining!

HEY ALL, There are more pictures on Facebook today. See anyone you know? The one in the hall with them standing may be more than one division....??? They all look so much alike. I picked one if it isn't mine....I've adopted him anyway! They all belong to all of us now anyway!
