I know my SR was not feeling well last Friday when he got a 10 min. call.  Haven't heard anything since.  Either he wrote to a friend or didn't write and maybe rested up....Haven't heard from any of his friends that they've heard from him.

I don't think any of the new ones are our 936 either but it is nice to see the men and women with our SR's.  It is sad that we can't even tell our own kids apart any more....jeez it's only been a month!  All part of becoming a part of the Navy team I guess....and that's a good thing!  NO LETTER TODAY, anyone else hear from our group?

Yes 936 is an all male division.  However the picture i thought might be them in the three random pictures but it is not...it was identified by another PIR group  :-(

yeah i sent him a letter about that. and i asked about during school and she said its hard for them to get out and get married during school she just said PIR or December when they get leave
Comment by diannep on June 23, 2011 at 12:45pm
Yes, lizzy.  Your SR is the only one who can get that info and see if he has permission to do this.  Then if there is something you need to do, he can write you and tell you. Not sure they approve all of them...unless there are extenuating circumstances necessitating marriage at that time (many choose to get married once in A School) but he is the one who needs to investigate this.
Comment by Elizabeth on June 23, 2011 at 12:20pm
that's good easier to find them lol, so i have a question i called the training command center and they said that we can get married on friday of pir that's the only day. that he had to talk to his chain of command and get it approved?

Yes, it will be nice to have such a small group for PIR!  Very rarely do we see groups that small on here.  Some have been as large as 14 divisions!  And I agree too....no problem getting in extras.

Many light the blue candles when the SRs are doing BattleStations...their last final test before becoming sailors.  Those concerned about the fire hazard get the electric candles.  It is a wonderful tribute to the SRs as they finish this final test!

Yeah I agree, You won't have any problems getting extra guests in at PIR. My daughter had PIR last year on July 23rd. She was in DIV 936 and there were 13 DIV graduating that day. We took extra guests and didn't have a problem getting them in so with only 5 you could probably bring the whole family if you want to lol.
