No need to respond to this.  Just wanted to get the divisions listed at the top of the page and haven't seen Donna on the group for a while.  Only she can post them to the name of the group....so…Continue

Carol, that is  so funny. It really is a small world. Let me know the next time you are in Brevard maybe we can meet for lunch or something. You know what is even more funny? We want to retire to FL lol.

Nursememrie:  You know our kids have grown up with Avatras(sp) in video games...now they are the Avatar.  I think it will be very intense and serious but when they are done what a blast!!!  Just praying they will all get through it without any failures!  I wonder how they fail....what counts as a failure.  I would guess if they do something that would cause loss of life or sinking the ship!

Terry....thank you so much for sharing that link about Battlestations.  I found myself smiling halfway through it, knowing how much my son would learn and experience in an exercise like that.  It looks like an amazing teaching tool, and I can't wait to hear him talk about it once he's been through it!

Diannep:  SR said that they were told maybe Tuesday week 6 because of smaller/fewer divisions going through.  Again it was MIGHT so nothing for sure.  I saw on your BattleStations info that it usually is Wed/Thurs.  Who knows....I'm sure they will know more as time goes on but for now that was what he told us. It would be nice to know they were through it so we could know for sure about our PIR plans

Terrysproudmom:  Would that be the week BEFORE PIR week?  Like 10 days before?  Although I have seen them go on Wed a week before PIR a couple of times, I have never seen them go on Tues.  In fact, it is possible that 7/15 may still be going then.  So we shall wait and see....post dates when you get them!

My SR did tell us when he called last Friday that it had been mentioned to them that BattleStations MIGHT I repeat he said MIGHT be on 6-2   That would be Tuesday of week 6.  Nothing confirmed.  If you hear anything more from any of our SR's Please, Please post it here for all of us!!!

....I should add that not all who failed BattleStations the first time through will have to wait until the night before PIR to try again.  Most of them get to try again earlier in the week.  Most of the ones going through the night before PIR are the ones who didn't pass their PFA until right before PIR.
Comment by diannep on June 21, 2011 at 4:52pm
The ones who usually end up doing BattleStations the night before PIR are individuals who failed the first time...and are going through again....or ones who didn't pass their PFA until the day before PIR.  Usually there are just a handful of SRs in each PIR group who fail BattleStations.
