No need to respond to this. Just wanted to get the divisions listed at the top of the page and haven't seen Donna on the group for a while. Only she can post them to the name of the group....so…Continue

Caitlyn: Just keep writing lots of letters....lots. Get family members, friends, anyone you can think of who meant something to him to write to him. It is like Christmas morning for them when they get letters and those really lift their spirits. N
Nothing but encouraging news though....no negative! They have to totally focus right now. Remember, this group is still in the really hard "break down" part. in a couple of weeks, it will become more positive for them (around week 4 of training). They have that NAVY cap in sight then and feel more confident that they can get there. By the way, some people print off "jokes" and enclose them with their letters to bring smiles to their faces...and you may want to print a collage of pictures on a piece of paper (or on the back of your letter) to send to him.
I am not happy to see that other people didn't get calls but relieved because I would have been disappointed!!
My husband sent me a letter saying he passed all but his push ups! I know they are a huge thing for him but he is confident he can pass before the end of training. He was really sick over some written test. He said if he passed he was seriously going to regret he joined at all - thankfully he wrote on the back of the letter before mailing it, that he passed and feels much better.
I hope everyone is getting some positive news from their sailors. My husband sends me very little positive stuff and is feeling very depressed. Is there anything I could possibly do. I send letters everyday and pictures with jokes and smiles and positive thoughts but I don't think they're enough. I'm up for any advice.
Yeah, Sliding rock is a blast, the kids love it, but that water is way too cold for me. I went down once and when I went under at the end I came up gasping for air because of the shockingly cold water. I recommend getting completely in the water and adjusting to the temp before taking the plunge lol.
