OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Okay so they can't all call at the same time....please ask if all have passed in their division and post it as soon as you hang up.  That way the rest of who are waiting will know while we wait to hear from our kids.  I am jumping out of my skin!

My cell is attached to my body....has been for eight weeks.  And I have a Laptop growing from my upper thighs.  When I get in the shower my home & cell phone go to the shower door with me.  Take them to the laundry room, to the garage, to take out the trash or pick up the newspaper.  All these years I thought the young kids were nuts to be so attached to their phones...now I'm one of therm. :-)  Ooops a old version of them

Sharon, I just came from the shower, my home and cell phone propped up on the back of the toilet. I fear I am losing it, glad to hear I am not alone:)
