Is there another administrator on this group?  I don't think so.

Everything was very fast for me to but since we bought cell phones I talk to my Sailor everday at A school for longer that 5 hours a day and some texts. Everything is going well in Pensacola for him. I just want it to be over they will be classing up this week or next no longer than that. I also wish I had met more  people from here because you ladies are the only ones who understand me because you guys are going through the same situation. I really think we should all stay in contact

Terry's proud mom, if someone else is an administrator on the group, then they may be able to do too.

Finally rested up from PIR.  I got 8 hours sleep in four days.  Had very little time with Devin and had to brave the worst storm and flooding to get to him at the airport.  Would never want to live in Chicago.  O'Hare had canceled over 100 flights and you couldn't even squeeze through the United terminal.

PIR itself was wonderful.  I loved how the thunder seemed right when to boom.  "the rockets red glare....BOOM".  I hope the sound for the DVD picked it up.  Didn't take very many pictures :-( we were really up too high.  Devin was a greeter so I know you all saw him.  Did anyone get any good pictures of the 936 division flags?  They were the ones that came out mid ceremony.  We couldn't get a picture and Devin was the stick for the Division flag that they designed.  If you got a good picture of that please, please, please send it to me.

I loved meeting Elizabeth, Tina and her other son at the Meet and Greet but came in late and didn't get to hear all the introductions....I feel sad that we all didn't get to meet.  I wish we had arranged something to be able to meet in the ceremonial hall before the ceremony.  While others held our seats of course.

I think I am still in a blur.  Seems to have gone by in minutes!  I hope all your Sailors are getting settled in at their A schools and I hope that everyone will check in here from time to time to let each other know how everyone is doing!

I would love to add Alumni but I don't think that we can because Donna (who started the group) left the group.  Do you know if anyone else can do it?

Ladies, now that your SR's are officially sailors, (and Woohoo and Congratulations!) you may want to change your group page to Alumni now.

WOW !!! that is a understatement. LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!! very overwhelming for me. I wish i would have hired a professional photographer to capture the day. Someone with no emotional ties. My son looked awesome. He looked taller, more confident. No university in the world could do what the NAVY has done for my son. I am so proud of him. Looking over the photos, i wish i had more. I wish i had asked more when i was with him. It was all so over whelming......He is a man and a very proud one.... THANK YOU NAVY!!!!
