Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Carri it took Trav forever to get to us. The storms scared me to death. Trav also made it to Nuke School. He was worried. I would try to drive through them in my little focus. I understand. Kalli was in my lap begging to go the the potty. I screamed at the first big boom. Trav knew it was me as soon as he heard it.

UF:  I too say WOW...with tears!  So heartwarming!  I am so thankful for these people who so appreciate our military, especially these "newbies"...kind of counters those who are so unappreciative, vocal, and downright ungrateful towards our military!
HOOYAH to women/men like the woman your son met!  God Bless Her!

PIR was great to me it seemed like a teaser it makes you miss them more. My husband told me the navy is the only branch that does not have leave after bootcamp. That is crazy. But we will all just have to wait until a school is over.

Well yesterday was amazing. I have never been so proud of him in my life. I didn't think it would go the way it did. Getting to the airport to see him off was making me a nervous wreck. I hope everyone gets home and stays safe.
