When my son went to Bootcamp, he took his Navy contract papers with him and he sent them back home in the box too.

Jennifer12470, I know how you feel. I was in Hobby Lobby picking out decorations for my sons going away party and totally lost it when i saw Woody & Buzz decorations. That was his favorite when he was little and I thought to myself...I wish that I could go back to the Toy Story days. Im sure everyone in there though i was a nut!!

Ellen0502, thanks so much for the information. The waiting and no communication is just so hard.

@jaysmom The papers in his box where the papers he signed the day he left. It wasn't the form letter. I'm still waiting for that!

My SR is in Ship 14 Div 250 is there any other moms out there?

I'm confused. Some moms said there were papers in the box they received. There weren't any forms in his box. Just his clothes, shoes, phone etc... was there supposed to be papers in there?

Kim, the form letter can take up to three weeks to receive. I am guessing since he got there on the 21st, he was one of the first for this TG. I am guessing from some of the other posts is see.

If this is the case he was probably put on hold after processing, while waiting for more recruits to arrive since the next buses would not have arrived at the RTC until May 26th. Those recruits arriving last week would have just finished processing in the last couple of days, and joined your sons division and brother division (other division probably started too).

The form letters are not sent until your sons division and his brother division are full, and moved out of processing over to the other side of the base to start training. I am guessing form letters for his division have just been sent (or are ready to be sent).

Mind you all of this can only be a "guess" by me, but I would bet form letters will start arriving very soon for this group.
