Fingers Crossed for a call today hopefully. I really hope Alex is doing ok, I know he had to have felt discouraged when he called me on Friday, I could hear it in his voice. I just hope he has gotten though this tough time and succeeded with flying colors. I miss him so much.

navygirlfriend:  Those finishing up BattleStations this morning will call this afternoon.  Unless they have watch....then their I'm a Sailor call could be delayed.

Divisions calling today should be 247-250.  Congrats to them!

Lots of prayers for you, Alex's_Mom.  Please post on here and let us know the outcome!  Sure hoping that you are hugging "sailor" Alex soon!

Good Morning All!

Still no word from Alex. I'm still praying for him. We leave tomorrow morning and I really hope he makes it so I can see him. This is the first time ever that we have been apart this long (single mom syndrome I guess).

CONGRATULATIONS to all the new Sailors and their families!! Safe travels to all to an awesome PIR!!

Remember, PIR is just the beginning of the Navy journey. Keep plugged into Navy for Moms where there are groups for A school, C school, ratings (jobs), bases, ships, states, regional, twins and multiples, and the "Christian Navy Moms" that I am a part of!

Also, the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page on Facebook puts up photos from each PIR. If you see your Sailor in a pic or more, you can download it to your own computer by either clicking on the picture, going down to Options and downloading it OR right click, "Save Picture As" to a file on your computer~~
