CatMom509 posted this last Monday and it has been very helpful to me during this time:

  "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything

      by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,

      let your requests be made known to God;

      and the peace of God, which surpasses all

      understanding, will guard your hearts and

      minds through Christ Jesus."

                                               Philippians 4:6-7

Thanks CatMom509!

Alex's mom and MD girl praying for your SR, and all SRs in this group! That each one of them will pass every test and that we will see all of them Friday at PIR! Hang in there everyone! Soon the wait and the wondering will be over, and they will be Sailors!

janetmarie:  It could be that she was referring to the private group FB page, not the RTC FB page, as far as the Captains Cup winner---RTC usually doesn't post that until Mon or Tues.  By the way, there are 2 winners....one for the all-male divisions, and one for the integrated (male/female) divisions.  There is also a motivational chant winner, but many times, one of the other 2 winners will win that one also.

MD Girl:  I'm glad she gets so many tries on the float!  That is great!  It is not the same with the run...they can only test every 48 hrs, none on the weekend.  Yep, she will do it....no doubt!

MD.Girl you are so very welcome. Thank you for the comment. I am just now making a list of people that I want to find at meet & greet. I am a hugger, so be ready for a big hug. I feel as if we are all going through this together.

Quick question. Does anyone else have a recruit in 13/246? Reason being is when Alex called to notify me about the PFA issue I didn't get the chance to tell him were still coming. If you all happenen to get a call it would mean a lot to me if someone could get him the message we will be there next week

Of you will be traveling when you are expecting the "I am a Sailor" call, be sure to change your voice mail message. Congratulate your Sailor and let them know you are on the move to see them at graduation, and will be available at about (the time) if they are able to call back.

As long as their division is still at the phone bank they might get the opportunity to call you again.

Bbcregular, thank you so much for praying for my daughter. I talked to her earlier and I told her she will pass the floating test Monday with no problem. Its mental with her I told her to relax and just float she can do it. She gets to take it twice Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I told her I'm expecting that call saying she passed I can't wait to meet you guys and meet and greet thank you again for the prayers
