JackRussell and van: I sent you the info in a friend request....don't hit the ACCEPT or the info goes awayl.
jenls: You should be getting a wonderful call this afternoon!
Good Morning, Everyone. Div 243/244 went through last night and should be finishing up soon. Keep those phones close this afternoon. Calls can start as early as 2pm Central. Congrats!
MD, you will be losing an hour time-wise, right? You are on EST and GL is on Central....so that will help a bit with getting there for the MeetandGreet! Still hoping you get a good call either next week...a great one!
Good Morning All !
Happy Friday!
"As for God, His way is perfect;
the Word of the Lord is flawless.
He is a shield for all who take
refuge in Him."
Psalm 18:30
Oh, I see that you are driving....YAH! That gives you some leeway here. How long will the trip take you? I would hate for you to miss the MeetandGreet which is late afternoon until about 8:30, I believe. One day at a time here....
MD.Girl: If you can change your reservations to Thurs without paying more, I would do it. RTC's rule on this is not to go to PIR if you do not receive another call from your SR saying she passed. You will not be able to see her if she didn't pass, but again, not thinking that way, like ellen said---she can do this!. Her last chance to try and be at PIR is on Wed. Hoping she could call you then if she passed it. It is a hard place to be in....because sometimes they cannot call until they have passed that and then completed BattleStations. If she doesn't pass until Wed, she cannot do Battlestations until Thurs night before PIR....sigh.....I'm so sorry, but this DOES happen alot. I'm hoping that she gets to call you on Monday saying she has passed her swim test. If so, she will pass BattleStations so keep your plans.
Briamommy, First of all...deep breath. Second, if you were planning on attending PIR DO NOT cancel your plans yet.
Your daughter has been moved to the FIT division, and she does have two more chances to pass the prone float part of the swim test (that one is a hang up for many) before she can't participate in PIR. They will do everything in their power over the next four days to get her to pass and attend. There is nobody there on base that wants anyone to fail at this point!!!!!
If by chance she doesn't pass before PIR (again, she will be pushed hard to do so), she will remain in FIT until she passes. We won't even go there at this point, believe you will get that " I am a Sailor" phone call!!!
