Hello PIR group members…

Anyone have a sailor going to Pensacola for A school?

If so, we’d love to have you join the Pcola group. Lots of great information, sharing and help on the group at: http://navyformoms.com/group/sailorsinpensicolaflforaschool

Thank you.....will be hoping for a call on Friday.

No personal items can return with your sailors to RTC after Liberty.  They must be given to them at the airport.

Next calls for this PIR group will most likely be the I'm a Sailor calls....unless someone calls because they failed their PFA (fitness test) in which case it is a supervised call "Will not graduate, don't come."  Hope not to get that one!  If you do get it though, just know that they have more chances to pass and be at PIR.  They are told what they have to say to you....to motivate them to try harder it get it done.

Some divisions will be doing BattleStations this Thurs night with calls coming on Fri afternoon after 2pm Central!

Your Sailors cannot take anything back to the RTC after PIR. If they are staying in GL for school they can take items back to base after liberty on Friday. If they are flying out for school, you can give them their things at the airport.

We have heard that sometimes they are allowed to take items back to the RTC, other times it was a very, very bad idea. Better safe than sorry...wait until at the airport.
