I am really proud considering he was very hesitant around guns before he went in.

Alex wanted to do ET as well, but the Navy picked his classification not him.

My wife is going for ET she figured there would be more opportunities for her after the Navy by doing ET the doing FC and thanks diannep for the kind words and explanation about the Red Cross Emergency Contact

I got Alex's letter on Thursday and he said that on Monday they did live fire and that he was one of the 6 out of the 86 that got Expert. He was so proud of himself.

11 more days to go... I can't wait to see my son.

Chris: What classification did your wife get ET or FC?

Comment by diannep on July 12, 2015 at 8:18am

Chris:  I have to agree with ellen.....the "contacting the SR only for extreme emergency" rule is in place to keep the SRs from being distracted.  They are very strict about that. It seems heartless, I know, but how much better for your wife to find out when your brother is on the mend and feeling much better!  That way, she missed the "worry" part of it.

Chris:  God Bless You in your upcoming surgery!  My grandson's mommy had that about 4 yrs ago....she has done great....freaked when she was pregnant that she would gain it all back, but looked great in her pregnancy and didn't!  Was back to pre-pregnancy weight just about 3 weeks after giving birth---she is great about continuing to go to her support groups on a regular basis.  This is the best gift you can give not only to her, but especially to yourself!  It opened a whole other world to her and I just love it when she is eating healthy and taking care of herself.  Prayers for you!  Excited for what is ahead for you!

Good Morning All !

And if you can do a little more of it together, the better. :)
