I received letters today. 2 envelopes with 14 letters in total. My son wrote to me every night so far while there. There are no words to describe the crying I did. I could barely read those letters. They were heartwarming, funny, happy and sad. He said the phone call he had with me was the best and made him feel so good and knowing I was ok and everything was ok at home gave him a clear head and makes it easier to do the work he has to do there. If he only knew the crying I did after I got off the phone with him lol. He also said he didn't get any of my letters yet. I wonder why, that concerns me.

I got the I'm here call, and then a call that Sunday. Then another call last Sunday. Only 1 letter.
Kim,
My son is in 937. I haven't seen any pictures of his division, but I know he performs at.graduations on 7/10, 7/17, & his own on 7/24, maybe I'll see him in the graduation pictures from 7/1070 or 7/17.

HI Kim,  My son is in division 250.  Haven't seen any pics yet of this division.  He just mentioned in his phone call that he needs to have it done but he didn't know when, but they were going to do whoever had to have it done in his division at the same time.  How many phone calls have you been able to get from him?  So far, he has only been able to make the one last weekend but he was able to talk for 30 minutes.  He actually made one to us and one to his girlfriend that day :)

missingmyking & jaysmom, he seemed to be doing fine in his letter. He had it done on Saturday & was in the pics on facebook of them marching on Tuesday. I guess that means he did OK. What division are your sons in? Mine is div 246.

Hi Jaysmom...have you been able to talk to your son a lot?  So far I've just got one phone call last Saturday.  It was bittersweet because then I went through my mourning period again.  But, it was great hearing his voice!

My son was supposed to have had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled on Monday. I hope he is doing well. Haven't talked to him since Sunday.

Good for you Kim.  You must be HAPPY!  Hope he heals fast from his teeth being pulled.  My son has to have two pulled...don't know if they've done it yet.  At least they are doing it as a division and they can all be in pain together..lol!  I hear they get a little recuperation time too! One of the mothers said it was like a mini vacation for her son :) ...
