Kim My son is not so eloquent, he just stated that his division "sucks"(LOL) they just cannot get it together and get in trouble a lot. I believe Alex's_Mom is in the same boat as me that they need wisdom teeth out so a phone call would have been so nice this weekend. But it doesn't sound like they have gotten it together yet  :-/

Jennifer. I think you are right. My son said the same thing in his letter about div 246, they are getting in trouble. He said people were talking??? I hope they get it together soon!!! I know all of us Moms/wives/girlfriends want to hear from our SR's!! I am trying to stay strong & I will pray for all in div 245 & 246.

I got my first letter on Friday, Ship 13 Div 246.  Haven't received my phone call yet, hopefully soon.  He said that it was going real slow but he is doing pretty good.  Can't wait until the next letter.

Alex is in 246 and he said that 40% of the group is very talkative and he wishes that they would just pay attention and follow the instructions. I know he is getting frustrated with the other people. At least that is how his letter sounded.

Man it's killing me. My Som is in the group 246. You know the ones that's struggling. I've gotten a letter last week but I'm going to go crazy if they don't get it together soon. I'm sure my son is not far behind me on that one. Keep them in your prayers that they get it and can calls us very soon.

Yay!  I heard from my son on Saturday.  Was a little bittersweet!  He sounded good but tired and a little stressed.  He's always been a stressed kid always trying to do perfect (during school).  Hoping things get better, told him to try to relax.  Forgot to ask him when they'll get to call again and does anybody know what they do on weekends in BC?  Do they get free time?  He said the days are long, but they are going by fast!  Hope the next 5 weeks go the same!  Praying that he relaxes a little and gets better sleep in the next weeks.

Michele,  When I talked to my son on Saturday he said that they weren't allowed to PT until they were completely processed but they still ate 3 large meals a day and spent alot of time sitting.  He said he gained weight the first two weeks.  Maybe that's the issue.

Michele

That is really weird.  Ya, I know at my son's recruiter, there were recruits that were told they had to lose so much, before they would even send them to MEPS.  So she made it through MEPS and everything and no one said anything, but when she gets there, then they say something?  That stinks and seems unreasonable.  I have heard that you will drop some major weight when you go through BC though. Probably gain muscle though.
