Is there a chapel where people can watch the graduation?

Alex's_Mom....I for sure would go to the MeetandGreet.  If Alex hasn't passed by now, he will miss PIR and will not get another one---he will stay in FIT division, keep trying several times a week until he passes (or runs out of chances) and he then does BattleStations, will have a short Liberty and head straight to A School---no PIR.  SO this is your chance to experience the MeetandGreet in anticipation of your already-sailor or future-sailor.  Hopefully he DID pass yesterday and will be doing BattleStations tonight....and at PIR tomorrow!  Tired but there!  This has been YOUR group from the start so I know the families here will welcome meeting you tonight.  GO!

Good Morning!  Safe travel today and enjoy Sarge's MeetandGreet tonight.

Also, for those driving to PIR:

Leave early (gates open at 6:30)....stay to the left on Buckley, main drag to RTC.  Car line for RTC will be on your right.  Bypass RTC....turn around at the train station right past it....head back to RTC from opposite direction.  Easy left turn onto RTC...no wait!  You all want to get there early for good seating selection in your division section.  You will be surprised at how quickly the seats fill up!  Enjoy!

Alex's mom, Please still come tonight to Meet and Greet. You are still a part of our new family, whether he goes thru PIR tomorrow or next. We are all part of a special bond and I don't believe anything can change that. We have all been praying for you and your son. And we all will keep on. See you tonight.

Well, no news yet. It would have been nice to know something so I could have at least been able to continue to write to him.

Since I'm kind of a mom without a group, should I still come to the Meet and Greet tonight? I've been a bit werry about imposing now that we are in limbo.

Alex'smom- my family continues to pray for you and Alex. I wish I could share stories of anxiety about my daughter and how God has a plan greater than I could have imagined. Keep us posted. You WILL be putting your arms around him soon. I tell the children PUSH pray until something happens.

Excited to meet everyone on Thursday at the meet & greet and then....PIR! Get to see our sailors.

No, Alex's_Mom.....the last divisions in this group went through last night.  Sometimes they can call when they pass the final PFA before BattleStations, but many times not until they pass BattleStations.  I'm so sorry that you are in limbo....but it is possible that he passed today and will be going through BattleStations tomorrow night.  I believe you had said you are going up there anyway, and hoping for the best!  I sure hope that when you get to the gates Fri morning, his name is on that list!
