Does anyone know if they will be able to stay at the hotel with us that weekend or if they have a curfew?

I am curious about what happens after PIR...we are staying at the Navy Lodge and I see they have a picnic area...not sure if it will be too hot, though...what do families do after graduation until nighttime?

My son called yesterday he is in ship 5 being sent home in 2 weeks. He has hives they said from anxiety and depression.im not sure if he told them that or the decided that was the cause. Either way he is heartbroken he gave up so much of his life to do this for them to send him home is nuts.

To add to ellen's post about honoring our sailors, I have heard many times from others on this site that when they were with their sailors at the airport, the people at the gate gave them a standing ovation when the sailors were called to board!  Chicago LOVES those sailors!
