For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

lawdgo. I knew I wouldn't be able to concentrate today either so I took the day off and came to the beach. It's the one place that gives me peace and let's me relax. I hope we get our calls soon;)

Six more days!!!!!!!!! Congratulations to all the new Sailors graduating today and their family. Enjoy the time with your loved one. Can not wait until we know how many divisions went through BS21 last night. It will give us a better idea when our SR"s will be going. There is some confusion as to when 230 will go. They have said one thing and written another. Congratulations to all the moms getting the calls this afternoon.

I have the live stream up. When you went onto the navylive.dodlive.mil did you go to bottom of page to recent events and click on today's graduation date? That is what I had to do today.

AHHHHHH!!!!!! 6 days...battle stations...im a sailor calls.....Im never going to be able to focus at work today!! Good luck to everyone in 225/226 today a few more minutes and they will be done with BS. WOOT!!!

Good morning all, thank God for this site as my nerves are SHOT!! Going to watch PIR again today to see my girl carry her flag and then next week, a live performance!!! Cannot wait. Diannep, thank you for the BS info. I know my daughter is so looking forward to the Captain's Cup, she is quite competitive and wants to win a flag so bad. Got a letter from her yesterday, it came just when I needed it most. She even drew me a floor plan of the drill hall ;-P I wish everyone a great day, congrats to those who will be receiving their calls from their loved ones today. I am so looking forward to mine on Tuesday.
