Good morning Navy Family, I just got back from my daily walk. I am walking a little over a mile a day now in the National Forest near where I live. Also, teaching my sailor's dog to heel and she is doing great. This is huge for me since I tore my meniscus tendon in my left knee back in December and I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I have been trying to eat and get healthy for 15 months and have lost 64 pounds :) Go Me!!! lol I even have a Healthy Living facebook group where Navy moms on this same journey support each other. If you would like to join us and get healthy here is the link. I hope you all have a fantastic day :) https://www.facebook.com/groups/162370573912854/

Every time he's called me he's tried to reach his brother but he hasn't answered.  He finally reached him tonight and both of them were excited.  His brother is 3 years older and he texted me and said that in the short time he's been gone he's grown up so much.  He's so proud of him for reaching for his dreams.  Sometimes, they say and so things that make you so proud.
