Lynn:  That's great news!

Tamara:  Very common for the divisions to not be working together well, but by the end, they get it together!

So happy to get my first call from my son tonight. He sounded so upbeat and said he was really enjoying the experience despite some illnesses. So proud of him. I'm a happy mom's tonight.

Lynn, so glad to know you will be hearing from your son soon. I knew he would reach out. They need all the support they can get. Even my husband who hasn't spoken to his parents in over a year asked me to give them his mailing address. Our future sailors are depending on us to keep them going.

My son ended up calling me twice.  Ship 13 div 225.  He sounded great.  Had 2 wisdom teeth pulled last week and he's back on full duty.  A little distressed as their division doesn't seem to be working together very well.  Too much talking and they are getting into trouble.  I guess a few have already left.

Just got my second call. I love how baby can hear him on speaker and kick my belly. Hope everyone gets their call. I know how terrible it is to stare at your phone every moment hoping it will ring.
