My son said he has paid for pictures and bought t-shirts so we do not need to do that. He said he likes the smiling one the best. The photographer said he looked too mean in the serious one. I can not wait to see them. One less thing we have to do during Liberty.
I have a US Navy Sailor. I am over the moon. I started crying and he said are you ok and I said yes, just so proud for you and of you. Can not wait to get to the airport in the morning and head that way. Nothing can stop me now. I had to write down things he was saying so I would not forget where he stands during PIR. I have to let his grandmother know.
Congratulations to all of the SR's They are now Sailors. Let's give us all a big round of applause!!!!
Hi there!
"He will not let your foot slip--
He who watches over you will not slumber."
Psalm 121:3
It's official- I am the mom of a Sailor. DIV 230. He said everyone in 230 who went through last night made it. He was at Ricky Heaven, tired but excited to it was all over. We were making plans for Friday. Finally I can get excited about packing. We leave to drop the little ones off in 3 hours and then start our journey to the airport. YEAH!!!
Jill - My daughter is in 937 and she carries the US Virgin Island's flag. She said she has to do that for her own graduation, good thing I watched the Live Stream 2 weeks in a row so I know exactly where she will be standing for the entire ceremony. I plan on getting in line to get on base quite early to get the seats she wants us to sit in. Safe travels to you all.
So ready to get this trip started and see our Sailors!!
