The Battlestations info is really interesting.

Do keep writing.  They love to get letters even if they don't find time to write.  My daughter writes on Sundays and I get them in Iowa on Wednesdays.  I'm thinking the guys aren't so great about writing or telling the details.  I copy her letters and let all the friends and family read them.  That way she only has to write one per week.  I is good to read others' comments and know that you feel the same way I do.  It was hard to let her go.

When my daughter was at bootcamp I actually thought about having my mail held at the post office so I could get it earlier in the day. My mail doesn't come to the home address until about 4 in the afternoon lol. But I was good and waited every day from the front porch to see if she stopped. :-) Haha, I did get a ribbon order today from a mom who is actually a post master. Maybe she has the best job for someone with a kid in bootcamp :-) Well unless you worked in the mess hall or the Nex on base :-)

~Kaitlyn(ship7 div 242) No, nothing but the form letter and the phone call from 6/11.  I'm hoping that they were able to write yesterday, so with fingers crossed, something will be in the mailbox tomorrow.
