Thank you Florida girl for trying to help me figure out why I didn't get a call.  I'm glad you got a call.

Whitemountain, I sent you a friend request on here. If you accept it and send me a message I will send you the ribbon info. I got an email from you in my regular email address but it was from a N4M request with a do-not-reply address. You can also send me an email to my regular email address from your personal email address instead of N4M's Thanks

Florida girl- it is driving me crazy trying to understand why your SR got to call on Saturday and the others didn't.  Did he happen to mention anything to you or his parents?

...I should add that different divisions are on different days of training.  But your division and its brother division will be on the same day of training.

Brother divisions for this group are:

235+236, 237+238, 239+240, 241+242

I'm thinking that most of your PIR group is either starting week 2 of training or almost starting it.  I counted back from your PIR date.  Day 6-5 is usually the Thurs a week before PIR for the lower numbered divisions.  The others reach that day within the next few days.  They PIR in week 7.

So thinking that this is week 2 sometime this week for most.  Ask your SRs when they call because you can then mark it on your calendar.  The day # will be the same weekday each week.  HOWEVER, holidays throw the count off....so after July 4th, their day #1 will shift back a day. Weekends/holidays do not count and the days are numbered 1-5.  But they all don't have Monday as their day #1.  So you must ask what day of the week is their day #1.  You can figure it out from there.  They usually do BattleStations at 6-5 (week 6, day 5)...unless training is delayed for any reason and they do it at the beginning of week 7.

whitemountain:  If she called from a "pay phone," then she would have been using a phone card.  I'm guessing that is what she did if she talked for any length of time.  I agree with Lala....they sometimes allow them supervised calls when they need to call for info or in a case where there is an ill/sick family member.  It never hurts to buy/activate another phone card (at least 500 minutes) and mail it to them.  If they don't need all of the minutes, they can lend it to someone who doesn't have one or ran out of minutes.

Whitemountain- You can send me a friend request and I will send you the info. Or you can send me an email to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com If you send an email please tell me your N4M name and PIR date so I will know who you are. I will get the info to you right away.

She may or may not have had to use her phone card for that call. Often when they are letting them make a call for something like that they just let them go into the RDC's office and make the call and then they don't have to use a calling card. If they were out and near the NEX and she used the phones there then she would have used her card. They can buy a new card at the NEX but not always when they need it or if they run out of time on the card and there is a line of people waiting to make calls. I would send another one to her if you think she could be low on minutes. :-)
