WOW! THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME! I swear, if anyone should have pride to say I DID THIS, AND I EARNED IT, it will be her!

I have been in touch with her sister on here constantly. Her profile name is "proudsistah" and she has been so proud from the moment her sister decided to join the Navy and never gave up hope for her. Even when this beautiful young lady did not know if she could go on b/c of the pain- her sister never gave up and told her "yes you can". At times, I wanted to even tell "proudsistah" that maybe she might consider the fact that her sister will not become a sailor - but I kept my mouth shut b/c I could see how much faith she had in her SR. This has to be the happiest recruit to ever graduate boot camp!!!!

KCsMom:  WOW!  That news made my day!  SO proud of her!  Thanks so much for sharing that!  Her story should bring so much inspiration to those in RCU...never give up!

Still praying for HM, navyrocks, etc....

KC:  Good to hear the young lady has become a Sailor!!!  She was determined and it paid off for her.

Any word from HM on her SR?

Thank you Forrest! It was so good to meet you, too! And now of course I can't stop crying tears of joy for this new sailor that I have been praying so hard for. Her sister, who I met on N4M has been so encouraging to me.... even with all she had to deal with!
So anyway, how was your visit w/ your new Sailor????

That made me cry. May he rest in peace with the gratitude of all for serving.

I saw that on the CTi group page. How awful. He took the same path that my son is taking. So sad for his family and crew and friends.
