Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 309 and 310

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son has passed all of his testing so far.  He said there is a lot of fighting between the guys and girls.  He said other than no sleep (it's starting to affect his mood he says), it's been pretty easy.

Anyone know if we will have name tags with ship/divisions at sarge's?

My daughter is in that same division. She said there was a girl fight last week! She's exhausted too!!

Omg Monica!

My SR wrote his g/f & told her they flagged test 2 & earned boot camp heaven.  However, they barely flagged it, and barely passed (as a division) the education phase.  PO was upset about it, so they lost the priviledge.  Haven't had a call in 3 1/2 weeks!  I hope someone posts on here as soon as they get the I'm a sailor call, so we know to look for ours!

I think the sailor call will be on Wednesday. I hope it's not Thursday cuz I will be in the air in my way to Chicago! Are you going to be there & if so,at the meet & greet?
Any word on div 309 .. test? anything?

What are everyones plans for PIR liberty? I have a few ideas Navy Pier is a maybe we have something similar to it in San Diego so he might be over all that.  I was concidering driving into Chicago and parking at a distance and then cabbing it. Not sure.. Obviously a lot will depend on when my son has to be back to base.  Does anyone know about how long it take to get from Chicago back to base WITH traffic?

If you plan on going to Chicago I recommend you take the train. Train fare is $3 one way or you can buy an unlimited weekend pass for $7 (your best deal). Even if you don't think you will go into the city again, it can save you lots of money if you end up going back. Parking is terrible and expensive and traffic is worse. :)

I'm going crazy waiting for that call... has anyone got it yet?

I got the call for ship 9 div 310 Kennedy about 1/2 hr ago. She passed!
My daughter is ship 09 div 310. She's a sailor!!!
My son is in Div 309 he sent a facebook message and said he did battle ship no pass or fail just that they completed it. He said his div won a trophy so
they will get pizza tomorrow. He said cant wait to see you, but still no call..

i was at PIR, but arrived around 8 pm. I only saw one from my son's division .  My son's division started with 80 recruits & finished with 43!  is that unusual to lose so many?  good news is everyone left made it through battle stations.  We are so excited for tomorrow!
