Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 940
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Just found this group today. My son is also in div 940. I'm relieved to hear that other recruits have not gotten mail yet. I was thinking that my son might have sent me the wrong address! Hopefully they will all get our letters this week. He said lots of hard work and not much sleep!
morning imartin - I haven't gotten a letter yet, just his box with a quick note on the back, and a nice phone call on Sunday.
my son told me he will be at three graduations, I think I will watch the livestream of the first two to see if I can spot him !!
I am getting so excited about PIR coming closer and closer!! Can't wait to hopefully see my SR face in a picture or live stream before his PIR !!! He is Master at Arms for the division....dearly miss him, but so proud of my SON!
Anyone else from Ship 02, Division 940 gonna watch today's PIR? my understanding is that Division 940 will be performing during this graduation. I know I will be glued to the screen. I watched last weeks PIR to get an idea what to expect..and tears were shed. this is the MOST amazing thing. Thank you Navy for Live streaming
I watched and it was amazing. I was able to see my son performing. It was real emotional, seeing him for the first time in 7 weeks.
I watched last weeks and did not get to see my son. I will be watching today's again to see if I can see him. One more week and we will have them in our arms. I cannot wait.
Does anyone know if the SRs have done their Gas Chambers yet? Battlestations are gonna be coming up in next couple weeks. This group has gotten very quiet, any news you'd like to share from your SR? I know we are all getting excited for the upcoming PIR, I will not be attending but looking forward to watching on the live feed..Remember they should be performing this coming Friday as well so maybe you can catch a glimpse of your SR on this Friday's live feed....Enjoy your day folks, will check back soon.

my son hasn't been very informative in his letters except to say that their division has been kept very busy! His dad watched the ceremony online yesterday and said they do a great job of showing each graduate so hopefully you will get a good view when your sailor graduates even though you can't be there.
just saw on the battlestations group that div 940 passed, did anyone get a phone call from their sailor?
