Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Congratulations everyone!!! We are on our way out to the fleet with our official sailors!!! Wow this has been a great ride. I can't wait until the 24th!!! Not much longer. What a proud day that will be for all of us. God Bless our sailors!

just got a call from my sailor 3:45 for 50 min , what a treat , it sure made my day. hope your all get calls soon.  our son is in div 264.  see you at PIR.

I hope everyone had a good day, we are heading to Wilmington to move our daughter into college. It will be late tonight when we get there so I will check in with everyone tomorrow. The good news is our Sailor is meeting us there. So we will get to spend the weekend with her as well. She is surprising her sister with a new bike so she won't have to walk to classes :-) Please keep us all in your prayers as we travel. Thanks so much, Lala

For my Navy Mom friends that are meeting us for dinner tomorrow night..... I can't wait to meet you all. We are going to have a great time :-) See you soon!!!

Hi diannep-- since we are all waiting for call today..div 261 thru 264 that is ..do you think they go in order by div?..trying to picture hundred plus running to phones..so i wonder if there is a order?..i know from navydep.com its 1-7 their time with duties after BS ..and so cool you say they get to go to bed early with CC tomorrow they will need their energy!

Also, be checking your sailor's FB page today.  Sometimes they get on the computers before they get their turn on the phones!
